“Cold Souls” (PG-13) casts Paul Giamatti in the demanding role of Paul Giamatti, who’s struggling with a stage role - and visits a futuristic facility to have his soul extracted, triggering an increasingly surreal adventure. In “Love Happens,” (PG-13) a widowed self-help guru (Aaron Eckhart) visiting Seattle falls for a seminar attendee (Jennifer Aniston). In “Adam” (PG-13), a young man with Asperger’s syndrome (Hugh Dancy) finds unlikely romance with a neighbor (Rose Byrne). “Zombieland” (R): The zombie comedy lives in this cross-country jaunt about four hapless travelers (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin) who try to survive the ravenous undead as they head for a California amusement park that may (or may not) be ghoul-free.įrom there, it’s off to biopic land with “Amelia” (PG), an earthbound study of legendary pilot Amelia Earhart (Hilary Swank), who in 1937 attempts an around-the-world flight - but disappears before completing the trip.
